Planet in Pain (Instrumental Adano Mix)

by Paul J Rogers

/

about

This song personifies the pain felt by the Greek Goddess Gaia, at the hands of humanity, especially since the industrial revolution. In particular, the damage caused by the fossil fuel industry – in particular the burning of coal which is the focus of this song.

The song is also an apology to indigenous cultures who have always maintained a strong affinity with the natural world. Whilst the west continues to treat the Earth like a factory, we remain at risk of collapse.

This is a lot of meaning for an instrumental song, but not all messages have words.
